I don’t mind it.
The c5r came in a few colors. Yellow, White and yellow, grey and black, navy and silver.

The Jalopnik article says the #3 will still be mostly yellow, but #4 will be this new silver/yellow livery. I prefer yellow, but at least they’re keeping one of the cars yellow.
Can’t wait for Mid-Ohio in May!

The other C8.R that will be running GTLM in IMSA will be yellow with silver accents, don’t burn down the Corvette village . The best looking racing Corvette livery is still the 2003 24 hours of LeMans one. The 53 was also driven by Ron Fellows, the greatest Canadian race car driver.

Knowing the business that helped popularize Jake, Stingray Jake needs to die.

What do you mean?
I just thought it was a silly mascot logo thing. Something for kids and adults who are into tire stickers basically

It was pushed by the company Bad Boy Vettes, and the owner is a tool. Also, those really shitty, tacky, and awful engine covers come from them. Recently him and his business partner have been harassing a 17 year old who made fun of their boomerness, going as far as sending complaints into his job and getting him fired. There was enough evidence against them that Corvette’s at Carlisle banned him from advertising and attending.

I didn’t know that. They sound pretty worthless.

A Corvette.R without Compuware is just wrong.

Bad Boy Vettes may have been the marketing force behind the spread of Jake but its Pratt and Miller’s logo and always will be. Pratt and Miller had been using a generic skull logo in 2004 and Eddie Jabbour of Kick Design evolved it into the Jake they use today. Pratt and Miller shouldn’t be forced to kill a logo that has been a key part of the team’s identity for the last 15 years because some scum spread it through the wider Corvette community.

I hope this is just a scheme they are using for the reveal and testing. You can’t have a Corvette GT car with that little yellow on it.

GM has defied Boomer’s with the C8, Pratt and Miller should follow and send them a C&D,

I’m really trying to like the C8, but the more I see that Star Trek intake it just looks more and more forced.

I’m not sure if they ever actually did anything to secure legal ownership of the design. At the very least they have allowed the community to use it for so long that they would no longer have claim to it in a legal sense.

I fully agree, though the best is the C6.R GT1

On one hand, #3 will be yellow, on the other hand, no more small block.
